Respected Sir/Madam,
The Department of Civil Engineering organized a an Expert Talk of titled “ Engineering Education Roadmap for a Rapidly Changing world: Opportunities & Pitfalls” on 26th February 2026, at 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in SVGI Auditorium for all engineering students of Swami Vivekanand College of Engineering, Indore.
The seminar was conducted by Er. Somak Basu, Co-Founder of One Quest Technologies. He was earlier employed with Dell Inc., Dell Asia Pacific, India and Singapore.
The objective of the seminar was to create awareness among students regarding emerging trends and career opportunities in the field of Entrepreneurship. The Speaker explained the fundamentals and growing importance of Engineering in the current digital economy.
He also explained about AI tools, 3D printing machines etc. overtakes the jobs of employees in a new era.
The seminar was interactive and informative, contributing significantly to students’ career readiness and awareness of industry-relevant skills.
